Last weekend we were very successful in conveying our message on 92.7 WOBM radio here in Ocean County! Dave Patnaude started the ball rolling with the main call in regard to speed limits. The radio host Bob Levy said that "Boating Education is Common sense - not speed limits!" Several NJPPC members also called in and conveyed the same message. A few who were opposed called in but clearly came off as not knowing what they were talking about.

NOW! We have been emailing Jim Gearhart who is the radio host on NJ 101.5 every morning. Unfortunately he has not responsed. This AM radio show is one of the most listened to radio shows in the morning. WE NEED TO GET ON THE AIR WITH JIM GEARHART!!

What can you do? EMAIL JIM GEARHART ( [email protected] ) and ask him to please allow NJ Performance Powerboat Club to discuss the proposed Inland Tidal Waterways on the air with him!
*Mention that this is a non-fact based movement of a few in the state that want to create a speed limit law
* Mention that such a law is virtually un-enforceable!
* Mention that it is crazy that you need a license to operate every other motor vehicle in the state of NJ with the exception of a powerboat!
* Mention that we do not need anymore senseless laws in the state of NJ!

PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO EMAIL JIM!!!!!! WE'RE ON A ROLL!!!! LET'S NOT STOP NOW!!
