aluminum small blocks???
 

do such engines/blocks exist??? Are they reasonabley priced. Thinking about a potential project (non marine) and a small block is the best fit but they are just so frikkin heavy. An LS1 is much better weight wise (and more reliable) but requires custom fabbed parts (exhuast, engine mounts, ect) to use. Plus small block blowers and other engine parts are just so common. PLus teh wealth of knowlegde and simplicity of biulding a big HP SB. Where as LS1 needs ne software and not that many biulders can biuld them up cheaply yet.
