VHF antenna & mount

Does anyone know of any trick VHF antenna's and mounts that don't stickout like a soar thumb. The standard big lever type and 8' antenna's just don't seem to fit in with the sleek looks of offshore performance boats.
Maybe a removable antenna you can store until needed or a retractable style.

I also didn't care for the mounts that could be bought. They all were either to big and gauldy, or just not practical. This one fits the bill. Polished aluminum. The base is lower than the railing and mounts on the inside of the rail, between my engine hatch. This way it does not stick up and rub thru my cockpit cover. Also required NO holes to be drilled. Not to mention, that without the antenna installed, the mount is not visable. A very clean look. I keep the antenna in the engine compartment when not on the water. It just slides into the lower mount. 2 seconds to install.

Jerry,
That is more in line with what I was thinking of. Where did you get that?
