Where's the best snowmobiling in MI right now?? How much snow? Looking to ride over the Holidays....

It's not looking too good for riding over the holidays. Your best bet would be up on the Superior shoreline of the UP. But I don't even think that is ridable yet.

just got off the phone with a friend of mine in the gaylord area an he said they have been gettin pretty steady snow. bout 6 or 8 inches in the last few days.unfurtunatly there wasnt much of a base though. i was up there a few days last week an it started coming down as i was leaving town on friday night. :rolleyes: :cool:

Take the short drive towards Perry Sound Ontario. The trails are groomed and the 2 lakes are marked. The trails are a little rough from some of the yahoo's but give them aliitle more time and they will be mint. I know it is not MI, but it really is a short ride for some good early riding.

i was just surfing this afternoon. looks like grand marais will be the best, they are getting the most lake effect right now.
