Default Normal turn around time for surveyors report

I am trying to get this deal done and every time I turn around something else pops up.The surveyor now ,is telling me that it normally takes a week to get a report out. I explained to him I am close to contract ending date and that I need to get this deal done.Is this asking to much or is this normal turn around time. When I spoke to him I ASSUMED that since he was able to get the survey done the same day , a report would be ready in the next couple of days.Is this asking to much?

Vagrant, our last survey was similar to Fred. The boat was looked over and the surveyor faxed a copy to us and the bank within 2 days. We had the orig in under a week.

Ours was done by Carl Bolz at LOTO. He did a fantastic job and I highly recommend him. Very well put together and reasonable.

Good luck with your new purchase,

Kurt.
