cat vs vee

which would you think is better. A round a 32 to a42 ft vee or a 30 to 32ft cat. Which would be better in rough water and which would be the fastest and smoothest.

Boy that's a loaded question. Like Ford or Chevy, Harley or sport bike. You talking Big Blocks or Eggbeaters? Outbored cats are going to go faster but I have to have a Big Block V Bottom. But what do I know I ride a Harley. I'm going to go make some popcorn. It,s a Personal choice thing.

I've owned both, loved both.....just can't afford both!:D

I feel a cat would be better in all but the worst water conditions. A cat is faster and better on fuel. But cabin small or not availbile. You decide. I have had both now nothing but a cat

veeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

seriously, depends what you do. Friend is ridding himself of his cat because he just does general boating. No one wanted to ride with him in his 720 horse open sleigh.
Figure out what you want to do then pick the machine best suited. It could even end up brand B

I agree with Michael, I love my 30' Spectre, however, in really rough stuff I don't think you can beat size, so if its snotty, I would rather be in a 40' cat, opps I mean vee

Hey Shawn, how you been? I heard you had some problems with your boat. Have you gotten everything fixed?
Have a good newyears

Michael

Mike, thanks. Everything is all better with the boat except I noticed both water pumps leaking when we winterized the motors. No big deal, routine wear and tear. I will get them for the spring.
Hope your Christmas was good and have a Happy New Year

Shawn
