Baby pool, OSO-style!

I'm sure everyone knows how a "baby pool" works - each person picks a date (and sometimes time of day) when a new baby will be born. I'm thinking we should do a little OSO variation on this theme. Here's what I'm thinking...

Most of us know that a certain OSO member is known for buying a boat, putting a lot of blood, sweat, and tears (not to mention money!) into it, then turning around and selling it, probably at a loss. Sometimes, this particular member doesn't even USE the boat he's been slaving away on!

Now, this particular board member has recently purchased a new project, and has made some noises about "keeping this one" and "using this one for a while". Of course, none of us believe this line of fertilizer for a minute. :)

So, how long until a certain 1986 (?) Cigarette Mistress shows up on the OSO classifieds? Make your guesses here! (Too Old and members of his immediate family are not eligible for this contest ;) )

:D I'm going out on the limb here and am predicting that the Cig will actually get wet this year (In a lake). Now with that said, I say it hits the auction blocks no later than Saturday May 10th, 2003 ;) But....I better get a ride in it first!!:D

He's got some boating withdrawl from last year, so I'm betting he keeps it all Summer.

You Guys are really too rough on Too Old..... I think he may really do the deed and keep this until.......Nov. 15, 2003:D It truly is a "long term affair" for Fred! Just look at the good works he does for us @OSO.
Thanks Fred "for the memories!!"

My prediction is he is going to keep this one for years but it is already so nice that he will soon run out of things to do on it. Then, to get him out of the house his wife is going to relent on her "only one boat at a time " rule and he will buy a really, really rough one to keep him busy and off the streets. :)

2/2004. Then onto the classifieds of course with a complete redo and some custom paintwork!

All I can say is that I'm planning to keep some $$ liquid around the end of summer. And I'll be checking the classifieds and boat auction sites - if I see a 28 or 32 Skater with Merc 300's for sale, I'll be looking at a new Cig Mistress soon! :D :D

I better check the tow rating on the new trucks I'm looking at... ;)

C'mon guys---

This is a Cig were talking about here. I know it's old but in our dreams we all want to say we have owned one at some point right?? I think this one will last at least one full season. I say it's for sale sometime in 2004.:)
