securing boat bumpers in engine compartment????
My "new to me" 26ZX has all my gear packed but for the boat bumpers necessary fot those tie-ups, would like to secure them somehow in engine compartment. Any ideas or products out there that work? thanks

The last single engine boat I had , I used a rectangular Rubbermaid storage bin along side the engine. Just stood the fenders (bumpers , whatever) up in that. Cheap and easy
Worked fine for seven years.
Used another on the other side of the engine for the anchor and line.

Just be sure you tie those lines down. I had pockets on my old boat that I'd stuff the bumpers into. Somehow they worked out of the pocket and the lines were draped over the top of the engine. I'm still amazed that they didn't get caught in the belts.

What I did in my 2001 26ZX was get some stainless steel eyes (eyelets) and I attached to to the back seat wall (diamond plate) in the engine compartment and two to the exterior wall, I bungee Two big bumpers in an X (of bungees), no problems at all, I know quite a few ZX tricks for storage.
Did you find the hidden hull storage forward?

Thanks Bryan. See you like it over here too and not just on the Donzi board. I found the hidden storage forward but it is full already
I like the idea of the eyelets and bungee. will give it a try. Thanks
