Question O/T Thinking about re-financing the house

We are really thinking about re-financing our house, so what are the best deals out there? I don't think rates are going to go any lower, plus we have a little $$ saved up to throw @ the balance and lower our payments a little more.

So what ye say, all you banker types?

Thanks,
MD

just bought a new one myself, had locked in @ 5.75, the rates had dipped lower too. with the refi depending on what you want to do ,you can get as low as prime , currently around 4% with no closing costs , so shop around. bill

I just finished refin with priceline it was one long process would not recommend them, as a matter of fact the person at my closing handles both priceline and eloan she said eloan is much better. I did get a great rate and very low closing costs they due offer every option you ccould think of.

Another thought is to call you bank and ask them what they will due for you in a refin they might work with you to keep you.

from kitten the lender!.............
You may even get 4.5 - 4.75 on a 15 year note!!
Your payments will go up a tad but you'll save
thousands!!
Been looking around, "no closing costs" don't
exist, they just add them in and you're at the same
payment. Also, this time of year in FL, our prepaids
(prop taxes, insurance, assements)
have depleated our escrows so you'll have to
put those monies back in escrow if you CHANGE
COMPANIES! Usually 9 months worth.....
You'll feel like a out of water there's alot
to choose from, dont pay an application fee until
you get a lot of info.
