OT: Superbowl Tickets
I'm in the market for CONDITIONAL Superbowl Tickets. Here's what I'm getting at:
I would like to go to SanDiego for the Superbowl IF THE TITANS are in the superbowl. If the TITANS do not go to the superbowl then I am not planning to go.
I already have air tickets on Southwest to go, but have not gotten accommodations cause everything is NON REFUNDABLE right now (I can always drop my Southwest tickets back into the system to be used within 12 months).
If anybody has connections for decent Superbowl tickets, I would like to start a POOL here for those tickets. Whoever's team GOES gets the tickets at an agreed price and all whose team doesnt go forfeit their claim on those tickets...
Problem is, I don't have any tickets to offer into the pool. Not sure how to structure this deal, but figured I'd throw it out there and see what develops..
Currently, Superbowl tickets are only available through corporate sources, some travel companies, a tiny few who have personally been chosen in the random lottery, and those who get tickets from the team lotteries that are going to play in the game.
In 2000, I got my tickets from a girl who worked with BellSouth who won them in a corporate lottery (paid $650 each).
Any ideas??

Now all we need is somebody with ticket connections: How bout it? Anybody got connections on tickets, but their team is in the drink this year? Share the connections (it's the compassionate thing to do).
I've got a wad of green money in my grimy fist for a good pair (or 4some) of tickets (I'm not picky, but do not want ENDZONE tix - corner is fine, but not looking at the opposite end of the field).
And, as a plus - if my team doesn't go, I'm happy to drop my claim and let one of you guys go.
I AM looking a hundred other places and if I find tix, I will be throwin em into this mix..
