6000hp / 8= 750hp per CYLINDER
This is my cool fact.
I was watching a IHRA race when a fuel motor exploded on the starting line. Turns out the the rivit holding the rotors firing pin had broken allowing the pin to point a few degrees off and firing the wrong cylinder at the wrong time. In our every day cars, this would result in a missfire and stall, in a motor that produces 750hp per cylinder, it results in one destroyed motor.
