Question 32 Fountian only available w/ smallblocks?

Boating mag, Jan issue,p.91 says"Too bad Fountian only offers the boat with only one engine package". They tested a 32 Fever with twin 350 Mag MPI's. This isn't the only power option is it? Friends of mine have had older 32 Signatures with 525's and also Bulldogs, these were nice running boats.

Humm,

I thought Fountain was putting the small blocks in just to be able to offer that low $118,000 price.

Go to the 35, a much better boat from what my Fountain freinds tell me.

I just checked the Fountian web site and they don't even list a 32! Is Reggie dumping it?

Maybe they are worried about more of them sinking? Seems it would be easier to just fill in the holes on the transom that lets the water in in the first place!!!!

Okay Class,
A few years back ther was a accident involving a 32 with big blocks. The boat hit a wake, went balistic and everyone got a new scar. True to there SoCal roots they sued everyone. Reggie stopped making the 29 and 32 with big power because a few more owner stepped up and said this happened top them and it is a charectoristic of the boat. I can tell you that a 32 with Big Blocks driven by the right person is a great experiance. I have also Sea Trialed with a (Less Than Agile) Throtleman and lost a few knuckles. Like any performance boat, it takes some skill to drive. The bad news, The wont build them with twin Biggies. The good news, the resale value for Big Block 29 and 32 has stayed up comparitivley speaking to most other Fountains. Class Dismissed!

The 32 has been on the website for last few months, but only as the promotional ad. Same ad that has been in the PB mag. Since the special pricing offer expired 1/1, sure it was removed for that reason. Not sure why they didn't replace it with the standard spec ad thu. I'm looking for a BB 32' to replace my 27', so have to go used.
