Hey Dave and Barb. I am so sorry to hear this news. I know they are your Family and cannot be replaced. I went thru this also and I cried more for that loss than any other in my life. Time will help but the memory will always be there. Just remember there is hardly a dog that was treated like yours and that she led a full and eventful life. I know she went everywhere with you and it will be hard without her. God Bless.

Sorry for your loss. They become part of your heart and your family, and losing them is always tough.

Sorry to hear of this. Sometimes losing a pet is worse than losing a relative or friend. At least you were able to cherish her through the holidays.

Very sorry to hear that.

I am a dog lover and they become like children. I have a 13 year old golden now that has been the best dog ever, and I know he won't be around too much longer.

Take care

I'm so sorry to hear it.
I know how hard it is. I know the decision was a tough one.

I had to do the same thing to one of our cats. We had him for 14 years, saved him from certain death when he was a kitten.

We found he had cancer and it was inoperable. I decided to have him put down while he was on the operating table and still under the anesthesia. It was so hard, we were helpless to do anything to save him.

Damn it, I'm crying all over agin.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I went thru this about two years ago. Here is a poem that I had made into a Memorial picture frame for my little buddy Beavis that I lost on Mememorial Day 2000.

My Forever Friend

I know that it must be different,
now that I am no longer here.
I realize how much I was loved
and how all of you did care.

I know it will be hard at first
when you look around for me.
Expecting to find me in my bed
or beside my favorite tree.

Someday you will begin to see,
although it'll take some time,
the happy times you shared with me,
the memories are yours and mine.

I'll remember you, my family
and how much you meant to me,
So please don't grieve and don't be sad, it was just my time to leave.

Dave and Barb, So sorry to hear the news. I remember like yesterday having to put Eddie to sleep just before Christmas a year ago. Thought I was tough, but. . .

You've seen Little Bit of Honey, our Buff colored toy poodle. Kind of Eddie's "replacement." You are in my prayers.
