2 Months and 2 Weeks
 

Till the first day of SPRING!!! Boating season is just around the corner!!!!!!:woohoo:

Trust me, in Kansas, winter seems to be FOREVER....BUT...today we are supposed to have record highs....70 degrees! Woo Hoo! I think I have spring fever early this year!

Or to look at it another way, only 2 1/2 months left of sledding season:mad: :D

Looks like spring is starting today. Is is suppose to be 71 this afternoon.

No snow here, just COLD! We sure could use some snow though, our lake is about to dry up. NOT GOOD for boating season.

We've gotten about 4 feet over the last month, but you can't have any:D

Hell yea! 70 something degress here, so that means i get to take off an exhaust manifold and header, throttles and trim indicators for powdercoating. Then I get to wash lots of boat.

Two months and two weeks goes by pretty quick here, if your not thinking about boating the whole time. Last winter was never ending. This hasn't been the case so far.

Bring on the summer !!!

Who is doing your powdercoating?

I have the boat in Bonner Springs right now, but teh same guy that is fixing the hole :( in my exhaust manifold is, I guess going to do it. He is at LOTO and is also powdercoating a friend of mines swim platform.

I will find out who it is for sure today and let you know!

That was Jim Kruse. Him and I met you through Brad and Chris when you where bringing you boat back. I see him about every other week is you need the stuff dropped off with him. I know he will be in KC in a week or two.

Good, good! Just got back from Bonner w/ Brad and have the parts here. I was planning on having Kruse do it any ways. Let me know when he is coming up so that Brad and I don't have to make a trip to the lake! Or if you see him sooner maybe you could let me know to meet up with him about this stuff.

Wow! It topped out at 48 in Detroit, which is extremely warm for this time of year! Believe it or not made me think about Spring a little. Back to reality to single digit temps in a couple days.

Geez!!! I thought maybe you were pregnant or something interesting. It's winter. It's cold. It will snow. I'm just dealing with it. Do it every year.

Now, Carrie being pregnant, that would be interesting.:D :D

talked to my parents that live in Smith Center,Ks They said itwas almost 70 degrees /can't beat that for Jan/went thru Topeka on Christmas, and there was snow on the ground .sounds like you have been having a warm winter though and it won't be long to pull the boat out,spring will be here before you know it ,take care.Darin:cool:
