They say us boaters are supporting terrorism!?
They say that the more fuel we use the more money we put into the terrorists pockets???
Did anyone see the SUV commercial and their fuel consumption BS? These tree huggers need a slap! |
I did see that and man what a bunch of BS. I suppose with our huge need for oil from these countrys there is bound to be some crap go on but man what a stretch.
|
The problem is the media is repeating what the tree hungers are saying but not wanting back up with facts.
By the way, like what might be coming up. Geting to keep more of our money. Well at least I will get to spend it on what I want instead of someone in DC. |
I have seen that ad but only on FOX news..There was a guy on thta said the we would still use a boat load of fuel if we drove cars ...These Tree Hugging Libs are out of Control and the ABC CBS NBC CNN MSNBC none of these take them to task!!!!
|
fox news is the farthest right of the major news networks actually.
It is bunch of horse**** though. They spent $200k on those commercials too. |
You are so right. These people will pay:mad: I guess they can't see past their nose...almost all the clothes they wear are made fom oil...almost every item they own has plastic in it or is made of plastic....the electricity we use ultimatly comes from oil....we could all walk and we would still be dependent on oil. I am sick and tired of these overfunded *******s who can't see the forest for the trees...its the damn movie stars who fund these jerk offs so why don't we just stop seeing films....oh yeah, film is made from oil..what a bunch of hipocrites
|
Mitch
I agree 100%!!:hothead: But I came up with a different idea....Go to the Gas stations that are owned by "Them" and STEAL the gas...that way we won't fund terroism we will do what George W's doing and "Sieze Their Assets" (The Gas):p Let me know if you need me to watch your back;) I am well trained in this act:eek: OG:cool: |
What the f.............!
Give me a break. The liberals need to stop being so damn liberal and start facing reality. They got too much time on the hands and just spend they're $$$ on such riduculous crap. If these damn tree huggers know everything, what do they expect us to use instead or oil and gas. Wonder what their bright idea would be for a replacing them. If they feel so strongly about their "cause", then use the money to find alternate resources. They just piss me off. |
Don'tget me started with the liberal commie media,
IF ANYONE IS SUPPORTING THE TERROR NETWORK BY USING PETROLUEM PRODUCTS IT IS THE LIBERAL MEDIA, (I LIVE IN NYC METRO AREA THE MOST LIBERAL AREA I KNOW OF EXCEPT FOR THE LEFT COAST) YOU CAN'T SWING A DEAD PIGEON AROUND WITH OUT HITTING A NEWS CHOPPER THAT FLIES 8 TO 12 HRS A DAY, OR HOW ABOUT THEIR NEWS FLEETS 20 TO 30 VANS TRACKING DOWN MAJOR NEWS STORY LIKE IT'S SNOWING I CAN LOOK OUT THE WINDOW GET YOUR OWN HOUSE IN ORDER FIRST BEFORE TRYING TO CLEAN SOME ONE ELSES. GMAFB ALREADY MATT sorry I lost it there for a minute |
Well said Mattboy!!!
|
Thanks for watching my back. I am going to need it when I fill up my 45 gallon 8800lb Ford Excursion Diesel:D that is currently getting 13mpg and better increase since you guys said it will:mad:  :D Only 2300 miles so I won't post a bashing thread until it hits 20,000 or so:D
|
i think saying useing oil fundingterrorism is bull****
BUT we as a country are WAY to overdependant on oil. |
Same thing in Wisconsin. This is a very outdoors oriented state. Boats and muscle cars in the summers and snowmobiles in the winters. Most of the state is like this yet we're controlled by the Commiecrats in Milwaukee and Madison (our hippie capitol). Here in the Milwaukee area we have to deal with emissions testing yet the tree huggers in Madison don't. It's OK for them to drive their run-down junk cars and save their money for their weed but I can't pull my converters on my Mustang to make it quicker for a few months that I drive it in the summer. Not to mention the overpriced oxygenated gas we have to buy here. This place sucks.
|
Mitch, I bet your mileage is reflective of your right foot angle ;)
|
You guys,I think that we should just ignore this tree hugger bulsh!t!
Do I disagree with what they are doing? Yes Do I think that it is fu#king stupid? Yes Am I going to waste my time worrying and *****ing about it? NO! My point is that we are dealing with a bunch of dumb****s that have nothing better to do other than rant and rave and try to stirr up a conflict, they dont have a clue about what it really is that they are fighting for or how to really solve their problem. Their solution, point fingers and ***** at everyone else when they know that people will ***** back:rolleyes: thus creating their argument. If we just ignore theese retards and act like they dont even exist then maybe just maybe they will give up, realizing that no one gives a **** about them or there cause. Then they sit around for months collecting wellfare thinking of some new "cause" to ***** about and try again:rolleyes: just some of my .02 |
but, if they get rid of SUV, they will fire countless workers in the factorys used to make these and put out enonomy in more trouble than it is now!!!
|
Oh yeah and what about that dealership that had its SUV inventory torched.
|
Ecoterrorist should be shot like the rest of em...
Thank god they wern't here 100 years ago or we would never have the infrastructor that we do now, dams, power plants, roads, ect. Can you imagine public works from the depression trying to get something done? Good thing back then was they'd just burry the waco's in the concrete of hoover dam and be done with it. :D Ahhh..what a simpler time. I just pray my tax dollars aren't going to support them. |
Ariana Huffington and her group of idiots are behind the ads.
Heard her on talk radio yesterday with Sean Hannity. Really funny. He asked her if she flew on private jets & by the way - what size is your house. She got all huffy saying that was not the point. She lives alone in a 9,000 ft mansion. She also said the private jets were going there anyway so why not ride. That is how all those people think. You shold give up your SUVs, boats, bikes, snowmobiles etc. but they should be able to continue living whatever life style they please - after all - they are better than the rest of us because they "care". Screw them. LT |
I care about the environment!!! Who are these idiots trying to kid. I've done alot to conform my environmental habits
- I quit draining my antifreeze onto the ground. - I started recycling my old oil from boat and truck. - I use oil dry instead of rinsing it off into the drain. - I put a bucket underneath the drive to drain the oil. - I use a trash can instead of just throwing trash out the window. - I even stopped BURNING my trash. - And will probably start using a corn-burning stove to heat my house. WHAT THE HELL DO THESE PEOPLE WANT FROM ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry got a little carried away. But, I'm making an effort.;) |
I have several "huggers" in my neighborhood, and guess what they drive.............you guessed it.......Isuzu Rodeo and a Dodge Durango......
|
Matt, Mitch, Lake Trash, Risk Taker... well stated
|
Typical Liberal bull****
Won't let anyone drill for oil in the USA, then accuse us of funding terrorism?? Like we got an F***ing choice |
Thrill, I agree it would be nice if we could just ignore these idiots till they went away, but I think we could be in a world of hurt if we do. This crap started 5-6 years ago as a few little blurbs about fuel mileage and safety from the Sierra Club. But the drums keep getting louder and lots more of these enviro-nazis and their pals in the media are latching on to it because it gets them what they crave-attention. If we poo poo this and ignore them the next thing that will happen is these Senators or Congresscritters will take up the cause and make some new legislation. Then it will no longer be our choice of what to drive-they will tell the automakers how and what to build and we will pay the freekin bill. I am sure that when the smokers heard a few wackos talking about banning cigarettes a couple of decades ago they said "hey ignore them, they'll go away". Now you can barely smoke anywhere in some states and it ain't cheap. BTW, I am not a smoker, but it is a good example. We need to use every opportunity to expose these hypocrites and humiliate them for their stupid ideas, if not slowly but surely more people will believe the lies and one day you'll be trying to tow with a Suzuki Samurai, that you paid 56K for.....

Next they will say "Tax cuts are funding terrorism"
And the reason there is terrorism to begin with is because these pussies never do anything about it! They'll let them out of prison? Sell them our secrets and weapons to use against us? But God forbid anybody tries to go in there (Iraq/Korea) and take back anything or try to stop them. These bastards will do or say anything to get re-elected. They create this whole mess and then try to turn around and blame someone else for it? I sometimes think it is going to take another revolutionary war to get rid of these *******s. God bless Rush Limbaugh! |
EX20 - you can cut the converters open on your stang and replace the platinum grid with a section of tubing and tig weld them back together. It will still pass emissions. If you have a big cam in it you will need to add alcohol to the tank to pass, though.
I would like to see the total gas consumption of all of the PERFORMANCE boats in the US (with a breakout of raceboats as well). I am confident that the total gallons will be no more than a tiny SPECK on the consumption chart. As far as Ms. Huffinpuff and her private jet, there is no more thirsty form of transportation in existence. Somewhere around 2.5mpg on medium distance flights, and less than that for short hops (figure somewhere around $250 just to get it off the ground). Here's an idea... Why don't ALL of the *****ing greenies drive solar cars? How come we see them in limousines, Navigators, and Lear jets? Why don't they live in houses made of mud with windmill generators outside - how come we see them in 9000 square foot houses that require $850 worth of fossil-fuel-generated electricity to power them every month? Harry Potter should put one of those SLUG spells on all of them - whenever they open their mouth to be a hypocrite, huge nasty slugs start crawling out of their throat... I am concerned about the mass devastation of rain forests. I am concerned about the senseless killing of elephants for their tusks. I am concerned about the mass-drownings of porpoises in tuna nets. I am concerned about the cat-jugglers in Mexico (remember that SNL episode with Steve Martin?). BUT I guess I'm not smart enough to see the opportunity there for me to start going on talk shows and holding press conferences to rant and shout about it. Obviously, if I pretend to be an idiotic hardcore greenie, then I can get flown all over the country, meet politicians, paid for my appearances, and start my own nonprofit foundation to receive donations from which I will pay myself a small salary (small is a relative term here). I get sick and angry whenever a savage greenie gets microphone time. Nuts. Frustrating. |
From what I understand the commercial was a take-off on the anti drug commercial. I smoke about an eighth ounce of pot a year probably grown in US, but I am supporting terrorists too?
I have a friend who made one of the ads - the one with Bin Ladin dressed like Uncle Sam saying the greatest weapon of mass destruction is in your driveway. I honor his belief as well as his creativity in presenting it. I joke with him that if I burn up all the oil in my boat then I am helping to hurry up the time when we finally get around to creating alternatives. It is not Liberal vs Conservative - we use more oil based resources than the planet can sustain, period. As long as there is profit in it we will all be manipulated into arguing around the main point; we must switch to better sources of energy. An energy policy made with those who profit, done in secret, and based almost exclusively on more oil usage is what we should all be upset about. What did they all decide behind our backs that they are afraid we might find out? |
Tom, Tom, Tom please don't buy into the old liberal saw about "Big Oil". First of all, if we don't ask the producers about energy policy, who will we ask??? Maybe the enviro-whackos, or the terrorists?? Or maybe we should let the Sierra club do it? Do you want to run your Bat Boat with an electric motor?? Isn't it odd how every year they keep changing the year when we will supposedly run out of oil? You know in the 70's we were supposed to be dry right now, last I checked there were a few gallons left out there. Did you know that there were several enviro bigwigs invited to the "secret" energy task force meetings, but they declined the invitation? Why do you suppose that is? Maybe because they could then rail against whatever came out, regardless of what was said?

What did they all decide behind our backs that they are afraid we might find out? Maybe it would help us understand if you would quote your source. I was under the impression that in our free market economy each energy company made their own policy. Actually, if they came together wouldn’t that be collusion – a crime? What’s wrong with the “profit” motive? I thought Adam Smith’s Invisible Hand principle was a corner stone of our economy! The idea that each of us pursuing what’s in our best interest (economically), will in aggregate, end up making better decisions for society than some central planning system. Possibly that sounds overly simplistic, after all its over 200 years old. But hey, it has produced the kind of economic surplus that allows people to spend time worrying about the environment. Doubt if they have that kind of time in North Korea, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. |
The perverted word “liberal” again! It means Control and that’s the Joke!!
This tree hugging Anti American Human Filth needs to travel to India or China and see some real Pollution. Millions of Dirty little 2 Strokes! Along with a Soft Coal based Industry for cripes sake like in China. According to a satellite survey I saw it was India, China and Eastern Europe who were the biggest polluters. FORGET usage its how clean you burn it!!!!!!!!!! Also there are some startling new theories on Petroleum that just may rewrite the known rules ! |
First of all, if we don't ask the producers about energy policy, who will we ask??? Actually Tom, any use of oil based resources is more than the planet can sustain – remember – it’s not a renewable source. But that’s tangential, what I really wanted to comment on was your statement about “secret” energy policies. Who exactly are “they”? I'm 100% for profit motives, capitalism and democracy, but we are all deluded if we think that is what we have. When a small group can cheat the system because of thier monopoly control of the market we do not have a functioning market in that sector. Do you all really want unrestrained profiteering by those who have already been caught screwing us all? Last I understood collusion was determined to take place in the California energy market by some of those same companies that met in the secret meetings. Why does that not concern anyone? |
