OT: What does everyone do in the boating offseason for fun?
 

Just wondering what all of you powerhungry speed freaks do for fun when its too cold to boat?

I spend my time fixing all of the sh!t that I broke on the boat durring the summer of tearing up the fields on my quad.:D

I speand lots of time on this board living vicariously through those luckly enough to live where they can boat year round. Also started watching lots of Freeze Freame videos. Lastly speanding money on stuff to put on the boat in the spring.

Sled as much as I can:) and a little ice fishing. The picture is from our annual ice fishing derby. In a few months we'll be boating on the same spot.

We TRY and get caught up on all the things that were neglected during the boating season.

Try to bum snowmobile's off of my
friends, havent had any snow this year though.

Winter doldrums
 

Go on the gambling boat, take one trip to Las Vegas, and another one to Florida to break up the winter blahs! Winter sucks.

Basically snowboarding and drinking, with a little work mixed in here and there. :D

Usually keep busy with fixing everyones toys. Building motors for the next season. Right now building a 383, a 461 BBC and a 455 buick. When I wanna get outta town I head up north for a little ice fishing.

Na.. I give up eating for the winter and use the money to buy parts :D

Whats an Offseason?

Just about the time winter rolls around is when the boating gets good. I don't understand this concept of "off-season"?????

Yea, I WISH!!! I still haven't been able to talk Kevin into selling it to me....Or at least letting me buy into half!!;) :D We run that thing so much though I never get a chance to run mine....And yea, I'm still looking, but I need to sell my boat first.

last weekend we were down in the keys boating...today we leave for canada to ice climb...gota love hang'n off a frozen water fall over 1500 off the floor....:et:

Build, rig and rapair boats... and wait for spring...
We would have tested a few here yesterday, it was 65, but the water was high.
Going to Sweden to discuss final plans for a 38 and a 42.

It actually SNOWED last night :(
worse part about it its suppose to stay below freezing so this time the snow might actually last more then a day :(
Man the driving is gonna suck out there. I mean there has to be at least 1/4 INCH out there on the ground. All those drivers are not going to know what to do and it will be accident city :(

Btw, everyone does know that I am in Minnesota and this is the first time any amount of snow is going to last more the 12 hours so far this season :) :)
and i am just saying this because this is what we do when we have cabin FEVER :)
