Without a doubt that was the worst version of the Star Spangled Banner I have ever heard( at the beginning of the Titan/Steeler game.) Evidently she didn't get her Dad's talent. A liitle variety is OK but that was a bit much for me.

No, I've heard worse, but not from a nationally televised bigtime game... What was she thinking with all those off-key chorus folks with her???

Hank Jr's at the Titans MNF game was DANG good.

We don't get a lot of non-country performers here to sing the anthem (and the few we DO get are usually gospel), but Martina McBride (who I don't like) did a great job, Faith Hill (who I DO like) did a great job, and then there've been scads of "okay" ones.

The dang gospel crowd ALWAYS changes the song around too much...

I also think it is a traditonal song, and it should be sung tradionally . I don't want to hear their interpretation of the song.

The song should make your eyes tear up when it is sung, it should not make you angry.

Once again, hats off to Hank Jr. (yep, my eyes were wet BEFORE they let that bald eagle loose to fly down across the field - too cool).

The worst I've ever seen is Roseanne Barr's a few years ago. Spitting and grabbing her crotch.....what a first class b i t c h........:mad: :mad: :hothead: :hothead:

I agree guys, The Anthem needs to sung by the book and not with everyones added touches.
Roseann was real bad.......

Steve Tyler needs to haul his @ss (and his lips) away from any kind of microphone. I love the old drug-induced Aerosmith classics, and some of the new stuff is okay, but without lots of guitar noise and drums he sounds like a cat getting run over.

HE also looks like h3ll to me (but my secretary thinks he is hot).

it always amazes me that people continue to make that song unique and ruin it in the process. Its a tough enough song to sing, sing it how it was meant to be sung
