Hammond Marina
If things work out for me I will be looking for a slip for a 41' Apache. Can anyone give me information as to the best dock to try for? I noticed many of the boat were on Hydro-Hoist. Is there a local supplier or does the marina set that up? I know they charge extra for you to have one. How about the yacht club? Thanks for any information. :D

So, I guess we shamed you into a bigger v-bottom instead of "pussing" out on a cat?? LOL!!!!!
Guess I have to come down to one of the Cops runs now so I can see your new boat!!! Mike |
41 Apache? Please do tell....
|
Roger,
Most of the Hydo Hoists are on "T" Dock. But with a 41 you will have to get a 45 foot slip. I would go to "V" dock there are 2 419 Formulas, and a 42 Fountain and a 38 Fountain on there. They are all nice people. you will only be one dock away from the rest of us. The hydo hoist are your responsibility and youcan only have Hydro Hoist brand lifts there. The Yacht club is running a special until the end of Feb with 150 off the initiation fee. Mark |
Ha foul to bad we didn't sit at the other table for dinner at The Greek Islands. Maybe we would have a Apache. lol
Quiet Storm that sound great. tell us more. |

If this happens you know you all are welcome to take a ride, anytime. :D I can't wait to take a ride too. Troutly Thanks for the tip. I'll look him up. Chris If this all happens, that little condo that you like will be on the market.;) |
First off, congradulations! I hope it works out for you. Please let us know if you are selling the condo. We would be interested but the timing may be off a bit due to my situation. My father-in-law just sold one half of his duplex up there and is thinking of selling the other half. They may also be intererested in your place. Keep in touch.
You buy the boat...Ill bring the credit card and cooler! |
For anyone who is interested I have a 20000 lb Hydrohoist for sale. The original owner used it one season and I bought it a couple of months ago. I had it disassembled and brought to the Chicago area. It has four 32' tanks and is in like new condition. I too was going to keep my boat at Hammond but decided to continue storing the boat at home. If anyone is interested please let me know. Mid $8,000 price range.

I need a Hydrohoist in Hammond but am hoping to pick up a used 12,000 or 15,000 lb model for a bit less. If anyone knows of anything let me know.
