Info on Avanti Powerboats
 

Anybody have any info on Avanti Powerboats? The 33' hull looks a lot like a Sonic and the old Coyote race boats. Any info would be nice.

There was a thread on avanti about 2 months ago. Some positive and some negative comments if i recall correctly. Quality of the rigging seemed to be a concern. Do a search, see what it brings up.

I love mine. Bought my 1993 27' from a friend of a friend so I never had to deal with them,good thing bad thing I don't know. I like the the way they handle,at 4200lb and 24* I can get 70 in perfect water with a single lightly modified 502, Bravo drive and labbed 24 bravo 1. I did not buy it with the resale in mind,and I don't care where they got the mold. I like the looks and that is what sold me.If I would ever buy another I realy don't know.If resale was the thought then maybe not ,if price was in the factor then yes.They do have a web sight. If you do a OSO search on Avanti you will find that there is another evil Floridianson that likes to cause nothing but trouble and you should pay him no mind:D Any outher questions that you might have I can try them on or if you can get to FL. sometime lets burn some gas.:cool:
