Are you going to be well enough to make the big show in Miami?

Miami is questionable! I want to go REALLY badly but we'll have to take it day by day. I hope you are right about the bear mkt. More importantly...36 Skater huh? NICE! Best of luck.

Shane:)

69 Vette

Hey McCollinstn,

My brother-in-law has a 69 Vette that you would appreciate - 69 427 400 HP Tri-power 4-sp convertible. He has the tank sticker for it, and it was equipped with factory air, AM/FM multiplex, Tilt wheel, side exhaust. Car was originally gold, but is now red. Car needs a fair amount of work, but is basically intact, never been hit, runs & drives. I would call it a good "15-footer", as in, from 15 feet it looks pretty good. :D In fact, he got the original shortblock with it, along with the original AC parts, exhaust manifolds, etc. Of course, the tr-power setup is missing. He bought the car for $10K - pretty decent deal.

Scary thing is, it used to belong to my wife's ex-husband. I guess she could have owned it if she wanted to play hardball! But I guess it is a good thing that she did not try to "rip his heart out".

I've had both the Supercab (extended cab) and SuperCrew models of the Ford F-150, and I would say the 4-door Supercrew has it all over the extended cab. Room enough for you and 3-4 friends to make a long road trip - and still be friends at the end of the ride!

Of course, I just went and bought a Jaguar instead of a truck, so what do I know!

;) I have to say this.... being a future college girl, traveling to/from, moving in/out, hauling friends, riding or water gear, etc. There is only ONE full crew cab truck that provides a comfortable and spacious back seat AND a completely flat fold down floor with the seats folded (secure when moving personal belongings)..... That's the Ford F150 Super crew. Get the 4X4 for the good & bad times & you can drive it anywhere at anytime.... the beach, in the sand, the mountains in the snow-skiing, slick ramps, muddy fields (the horses) and with the 5.4 Liter engine you get better mileage & torque than the little 4.6 V8. Get one a year or two old and save a real bundle. Both of mine have been totally trouble free. Now I have to get a F250/350 though. I hate to see the Super crew go.....:)

Chevy Light Heavy Duty, 1/2 ton crew cab :)
