Bolster seats
 

Anyone have any ideas where I can find a pair of offshore racing bolster seats? Used or new...does not matter... thanks

check the classifieds. I think there is a pair for sale out of a raced Sonic.

check with Frank Civitano at Typhoon Marine-he had a pair of bolsters from his Donzi he was looking to sell.

Frank and I both had our seats made down in Miami Fl by a company named Hot-pursuit. They have a internet site if you can
not find it I will see if I can find his number.Cost will be roughly 900to 1100

And yes, to find the website, i did a google search on "bulsters"! I remember that part. :D

I got mine from www.twinmarine.com. They are nice seats but I had to make some modificatios. When sitting in them it felt like I was leaning way forward. I just undid a couple of scews and put spacers under the front of the arm rest. This tilted the whole backrest back. I did the same to the seat part. I also moved the seat part forward. When sitting my butt was barely on it.

Was the ones that you seen in the classifides from a 1998 388 Hustler Slingshot? White with blue trim.
If there sold they should take them down.

yeah...the same one's... I spoke with the previous owner and he said he just sold them this weekend....

I am talking to a guy in Indiana right now that seems to be a great deal. I will keep you posted as to what I find out. I think we are looking at about 12-1300 for motorized :D

That sounds great Jon, keep us informed. Let the guy know he could probably sell a bunch of them at that price if they are any good at all.

i also havea pair of the "bulsters" they are pretty good. Not spectacular but not bad either. And hell for teh cost of one twin marin ebolster you can almost buy 2 sets of the hot pursuit ones. PM me yoru e-mail address and i'll send soem detail pictures.

Thanks everyone for the responses. Frank- I called the phone number and the fax for the bulsters...not in service and the e-mail has been shut off. If anyone else has a way to contact this guy that would be great but it sounds like he's out of business. Cordell- they are very nice indeed but I was looking for a separated pair. For a complete custom seat at a great price call Premier Performance Interriors in Sarasota Fla. They make a lot of Donzi's and a few other boat mfgs, and really stand behind their work.
