The Death of Boating
Sad to report that the "$ave the Manatee Club" is winning the battle in SW Florida as the news comes in that the Secretary of the Interior(Gale Norton) capitulates to pressure from the $MC and is going to approve SHUTTING DOWN the entire Caloosahatchee river and make it a slow speed zone, NO visible wake.To anyone familiar with this area that means death to boating.The next step will be to call it a Manatee preserve and stop all activity.
