What exactly are we supposed to get out of the professor's story? What suprises me about US1's story is how many times it has been (and will continue to be) repeated, tossed out as the "Can you believe what this country has become??" statement of the day. How many times have you heard the one that goes "My kids get MLK day off but have school on Presidents Day?? What the hell..." I only heard it 3 times so far, but hey, it's early yet. Yeah, it's 2003, but we'll hear the same old same old next year too.

I had a neighbor once that actually checked his mailbox on Presidents Day. HAHAHAHA what an idiot!!!!!

I am very saddened by a few of the posts on this thread. Just my thoughts, nothing more. Very sad.

Here you guys go again making a BIG DEAL out of something. OPINIONS VARY!!! GET OVER IT! There are just certain things that shouldn't be discussed. This happens to be one of them. See ya in Compton.

Who was discussing? Opinions vary? Give me a break. Yeah…….somebody should have capped off (murdered) a couple more President Lincoln’s so we could have a whole week off during Presidents week.

I just said this was sad to see........

"Sometimes it is better to keep your mouth shut and be perceived a fool, than to run your mouth and erase all doubt"

I don't recall where i heard that, but I never have forgotten it!

I agree with Nort
