I am no longer in the towing business (6 months now!) I got a call today from Scott Conrad at Dick Simon Marine. He needs transportaion for a new 36' Skater (@ the Skater plant) to go back to DSM in Dana Point, CA. (1 hr South of L.A.) What type of insurance do you have to have to be in the hauling business, I have a F350 duallyand have thought about hauling many times.

You need to have "cargo" insurance by a specific carrier who will insure a commercial vehicle to transport the boats. They are really hard to find, it took me a while to find the right ins. company for this. I'll have to try to find the name of the company I used to use.
