Lightbulb if he can live with a 26 ft boat......

The 260 Venom from Cobra ran 100.1 with a Teague Motor. The boats looks great and got a nice write up by Hot Boat. BH

finney - The very first step is check the insurance! In that size of cat and no experience, its going to be THE deal breaker!

He does not want much does he , has he checked on insurance for a 100mph plus cat with no tunnelhull experience, it is as high as giraffe pus@y, out of site but if money is not a problem, my choice if I had to get a single engine would be a Carrera 257 effect, it is 27 foot long, and a nice ride, 725-750 hp will put him at 110, check outpowerboat june2001 for more info, they had one with 650 hp and it ran 104.1 for 80,430.00 dollars, also I hear good things about Magic, and the 27 Sabre from Lavey Craft
good luck and tell him to give me a ride when he gets it

Once he decides what he is going to do He will spend the money. He is giving up snowmobile drag racing and taking up boats and harleys. When i give him my opinion i want it to be backed with proven safe setups. I tried to talk him in to my 33 but he said it is to big.

I had a 1,000 hp in mine for two weeks. Ran great, loves to cruise at 80mph - all conditions!

AMBUSHER - That 144mph Daytona with athe quad roter was a 25' Daytona.
