here is two cranes where I work, the infamous us steel gary works, the funny thing is this isnt to uncommon, new meaning to be careful at work today,:crazy:

oh ya just to give you a idea on the size of thease things, take a look at the ladder at the bottom left of the pic, that is a household 6 ft. tall ladder, doh!

the guys running them are trained operators, what they were lifting is a machine we call a kress carrier, they drive over steel slabs and pick them up for in plant transport, average slab is 100 tons, ive seen them in person with up to nine slabs at once, can you say holy s..t batman, and yes thats how they tiped a bad guess on the weight of the kress carrier, the guy in the little crane bailed out, do you belive the guy in the crane that tiped stayed for the whole ride? he did,

Im sure somthing could be done Roger, they crash equipment all the time, I once saw a 60 ton cap Euclid dump truck go airborn like the pukes of hazzard, they are about 25 ft. wide and are in the area of 250,000 lbs,
