HAVASU VS. LOTO (again)
 

We have all seen the arial photo of LOTO. Seems to be about 1500 boats in the cove.
Is there a pic of Havasu like this one??????
Just want to see an arial photo of Havasu boats...not trying to start a big debate all over....And Phantom---No Photo Shop!!:D

No......there is no picture like the LOTO one. The one of Havasu has more boats in it. :)

Both the women at Havasu are just to the left of the picture and the dudes are checking them out.

I hope this works, first time posting a picture! This is a shot of the sand bar (Obviously). While this is going on there is a similar gathering at Copper Canyon and Steam Boat. I have never been to Loto but if compares to Havasu I'm up for a trip!

I am not jerking anyones chain with this question...I hope to get to havaslew in the next year or so, but doesn't the sandbar get closed down at times? I thought I read last year that it had.

Yes, the sandbar has been closed in recent years (last 2) during Memorial and July 4th holiday weekends, and sometimes the Labor Day weekend. They feel it's too busy to be safe. I'll have to dig some stuff up for you guys.

Come on Phantom, the real reason they have closed the sand bar in recent years is due to gang violence. Hey, don't forget to bring your gun with ya. Sounds like fun to me.

Actually, it was due to to much public sex and nudity.....seriously!

However, even though the sand bar goes off....so does Copper canyon, steam boat cove, and the channel amone other places. Then again you could just run up the river to Laughlin for some gambling too!;)

Do you realize how many websites revolve around just boating on Havasu? Probabaly 50 at least. Clothing, boating, photos, chatrooms, movie productions.........the list goes on and on.
