This boat was originally called "Spirit", and it's original color was brown-this was one of the first offshore race boats I had ever seen. I wonder how much $ the final bid will be? I think this boat was on E bay a year or two ago?
When this boat was raced as "Benihanna", the thottles broke and Harold "Smitty" Smith, tied and taped the thottles down-so it ran full blast for the remainder of the race, taking wild leaps and No throttle control at all. They were the good old days!

This has TOO OLD Project Number...well, what number is he up to? Anyway, this is a Fred project. Maybe he can make this one his hard core, standup bolsters only, center steering, etc. boat while the other Cig can be for comfortable cruising with the family!!!

Are you listening Fred?
