Every tailer I have seen have a winch and big v pad up front. This float-on has this bar catch thing that i dont understand???
Any body have an idea

I had bar-catches on all my outboatd tunnel boats, but they just had a clevis that you ran a pin thru a regular bow eye, not one that butchered up the boat like that...

This guy mustve done a lot of solo launch & retrieves...

Those are original, to all "Float On" trailers. Float On was one of the first aluminum trailer mfg here in So. Fla. I used to have it like that on my trailer and then changed it because it didn't convince me. That's original on Float On trailers.
