The Thoroughbred that was at the Jacksonville poker run, and also the Smith Mountain Lake Poker Run is currently undergoing a major overhaul. This is one of the boats that is pictured in the Fastest conventional V bottom thread also. It has always been a very fast single engine V bottom but the owner Gary W is looking to go faster and look a little more modern. Gary you have got a lot of work ahead of you. :eek:

After seeing the close up I see it's not my old boat...sure does bring back memories though. ;) I remember cutting out for a glovebox thru that aluminum panel and the deck at once with a jigsaw :eek: Plus many other projects large and small, including keeping the engine repaired with 7.5 lbs. of boost and 5600 RPM and no innercooler :eek: Good luck to him with the restovation!
