Jolley, I've been trying that for a couple years. My boss just won't go for it. Icem can be put on a laptop too. In reality he knows that most of us would probably go skiing and tubing all day and nothing would get done. And who says supervisors aren't smart.

Back 7-8 years ago when I was on Autocad, I used to do a lot of contract work at home. It was awesome.
From what little I've seen of V5 , the Ideas people will be able to pick it up very easily. It is pretty much the same except the names of the icons.
For anyone on Catia V4 it is going to be a ***** to pick up. It is an entirely solids based system. It will be like going from PDGS to Ideas. That was not easy.

Been doing everything in solids and skins for about 3yr's, but you are right V5 is file & ICON based and completely different from V4, I used to use autcad ver 10 in the late 80's early 90's, that was another headache to learn, then Cadd5, then pro E, then CatiaV4, I'm glad they pay for the training..... If only I could remember all this 'CHIT'. To top that off We have a database that Boeing,NASA use to keep track of the parts and that thing crashes just about every day, usually when you haven't filed for a long time and lose some work URGGGG!!!
