APBA Corpus Christi 2003 Places to stay
 

Thinking about going to the Corpus Christi races May 30 - Jun 1 2003. Does anyone know what the course layout will be and where is the best place to stay to watch the races and be close to the action?

We stayed in the Holiday Inn aprox. 1 mile away.Reasonable prices,clean and close to race course.We will stay there again.

omni bayfront. closest to the dry pits. that's where i stay. i get a suite on the corner and it's the best place to watch the races. rates aren't bad either.

I second Dredgeking....we always stay at the Omni Bayfront..great lobby bar...walking distance to pits or other direction to the bars and party areas..good rates..and across street from the race course.

If you want a little less expensive, the Best Western Marina is pretty nice too. Great view from the restaurant on the top floor and not too far to the pits.
The course usually goes out into Corpus Christi Bay and then comes back in by the Lexington and along the seawall.
