I too use to own a 1996 Mariah Z240. It had a 454 in it, the boat was well build, but was more of a family ski boat and not a high proformance boat. Lots of nice featurs. I don't think that I would ever own another one!

They did go out of business a few years ago. I guess they are back in business.

As a former owner of one, I agree. Run!

With the caveat that under the new manufacturers, things might be better. Can't speak to that.

Sea Fox is making the smaller Mariahs and the quality of the new is far below the original.I checked them out in Annopolis.Towards the end I heard the quality was slipping but for the most part they seem to be solid, well thoughtout with good amenities and quality parts.Even my 18' has Full glass cockpit, built in cooler, stainless windshield support.

i defintly would keep clear of this boats. When one part breaks many more are to follow. If you are looking for one with a closed cuddy stand on the top and see the entire boat flex.

We looked at Mariahs back in '97 when shopping for a deck boat. the salesman said everything from the hull, to the interior, and canvas had a "lifetime warranty" . I said to myself BS and ran like hell. Glad I did.
