Question, I know that whipple claims you can make a lot of power on pump gas. How much octane do you need w/ engines like this ? RJ |

93 octane!

damn some guys are just born to go mental
that looks awesome good luck with it and hey, you have the whipples that make a TON of noise? Some of those whipples really really SCREAM Jason |
Do I see a raw water pump down low on the even side? If so, then what is the pump being driven off the cam?
|
How much boost to get 1150HP and are they intercooled? Why did you use the fuel injection system over the carbs?
|
Cigar,
What beautiful motors! Gary is one of the best builders and riggers around. How did you get a picture of him? I don't think he's ever been seen on film before...Are your marine headers polished SS tubes or IMCO's? |

VELOCITY MARK
These motors do have intercoolers on them they are recessed into the manifold. We are running 8 to 1. There is a couple of reasons I didn't go with carbs wanted everything to fit under the hatch(can't mess with the sundeck wife would kill me), and I think these will idle better etc. FISHEY This isn't no fishing boat!!!!!!!!!!!! |
