Daytona Bike Week, whos going
 

Is anyone going to be in daytona for Bike Week.

We are coming down on Thursday, and leaving on Sun.

Will be at the Iron Horse or OB's. Be careful' "Fla.- Come on vacation, leave on probtion" Main St. is for walkng not riding. It's a real bad place to break in a new motor. Have fun!!

I'll be there Wed-Sun. Staying at the Tropical Winds Hotel.

Going down Feb 28 til March 9. Trying to finish a new Amen Chassis with 124 inch S&S and a Baker Six speed.

I didn't say how long I would be there...Although, I only live 2o minutes from Daytona.

I live there (Flagler Beach), but I'm bike less right now... :(

That bike is going haul ass with the 124" motor.
I run a 113" S&S with 600 lift cam/ single fire Ign. in Hard Tail frame, ran 118 Hp & 132 Torque on the Dyno.

I have just become a little tired of Bike week, being that Spring Break starts right after Bike week you a ton of kids showing up the last weekend and they are not old enough to go to the Bars so they get drunk and create traffic problems. I sometimes feel that BW has helped put Daytona on the map with all the cash it generates & now the motion grows towards the locals not wanting us biker crowd there anymore.
But I will still probably go over for a day!

Johno, NASCAR put Daytona on the map. But BW runs a close 2nd for bringing in money. But only for about the last 12 years. It was awhole lot more fun 20 years ago

Sea ya, BAD place to break in a new motor. But sounds like it should be a rocket. They will have a dyno down by OB's tell "Psysco" Panhead Pete sent you.

when are the dates of bike week? I might fly back down to lauderdael and ride my biekl (which is already down there up to daytona)

i will be there at bulow in flagler from 3/1 to 3/5. bike week runs from 3/1 to 3/9.

that is one of thoise turbine powered bikes? I heard jey leno has one and he trashed some guys car (hood and front bumper) at a stop light he pulled over appologized and bough the guy a new car....

are you goign to have that down at bike week?

Thanks Rich, I walked all around the Speedway looking to get a close up look at that bike. But couldn't find it. You could hear that bike whine all the way on the other side of the Lake. What kind of turbine is used in it? Neat stuff.
