I'm no scientist or expert. But, I have not had a problem using sunscreen from the previous year. In fact, I have a backup in my tackle box that is probably several years old. I have used it on my face when fishing and i didn't burn.

They won't hurt you, but they may not work as well or at all.
I remember reading that the manufacturers recomened you replace it each year.
I replace mine every summer, cheap insurance.

Yep, just to back up what iggy said. They do have an expiration date on them, that may cause them to be ineffective.

80 degrees, yeah wish I was concerned less w/ fuel line freeze up and more w/ if I needed fresh sunscreen!!!

Nort, are you serious or are you just trying to rub in the fact that it's 25 degrees at LOTO this morning?
Oh yeah, sun tan lotion can go bad and not work. Found that out the hard way.
