Default Fastest V-Bottom Period

I would like to hear your thoughts on the fastest pound for pound v-bottom stock boat. (steps included) Let's say twin HP 500 max power and 32' minimum. My opinion is as follows in order (top three). I am just looking for opinions and information. I am not trying to start a war...

1. Outer Limits
2. Hustler
3. Fountain

Default apples to apples

Fountain's are always fast w/ stock power. They test more than any other manufacturer. Rough water is not about top speed and this topic could go on forever. This thread has been beat to death! BH

I agree that Fountain's are fast, but I think the same size Outer Limits or Hustler will be faster. It would probably only be fair to compare the 42' Fountain to the 37 O/L and 38 S/S. They are actually about the same size. Do you know of any websites or anyplace to find info on this matter?

Fastest period, I think fountain has a Douglas Marine built that showed 142 and change but I talked with Mike Fiore and said Outerlimits 47 sit down with staggered 1300 Sterlings was going 147.

With twin 500hps you might want to also concider the Gladiator the Donzi, and the twin step 35 Pantera.

He wants 34' and 500 hp power like they said the fountain should be 3-4 feet longer than the rest to be a fair comparison beek and all.......I think the Outerlimits......they kick ass on the poker run circuit!

Default here we go again..........

Phantom , Skater , Velocity, Cigarette - they're all fast as hell. Engine innovations , drives and light weight materials make these boats fast! BH
