Wally did....
Im just new to the ebay thing also.... they got me in 42$ in fees to list something that wont go for 600!! But I think Wally said it was 85$ to sell his Scarab on there. Lots easier than paper, plus gone in a week.

I have alot of experience selling cars on EBAY. Sometimes they dont sell, but you get some great leads. Ive sold 90% or more of the cars Ive listed. I bought my dads boat off EBAY, and found my current boat off an EBAY ad. If you are shooting for the stars, I wouldnt recommend it because of losing the fees, but if you think its a good deal, go for it! I live in Ohio and have sold cars all over the states. In fact, my first deal was to a guy in Seattle! Last night one of my auctions ended, and Im currently working with a guy out of NEW YORK to come down next week to pick up a convertible (I represented for my dad).
Let me know if you need any help or have any questions, and I'll do what I can!

i think its a great way to get exposure nationwide even if it doesnt sell.
i sold my last boat to a guy that saw it but didnt bid.
if it doesnt sell your only out 40.00
having good quality pics with your add is a must.

Didn't you see the sailboat I'm getting? Just kidding. Not sure what I'm getting next, but something smaller. I only use it for poker runs and as a day boat. I don't need a 42 footer for that.

I had recently sold my Carver cabin cruiser through ebay. It was an effortless transaction. The buyer was from San Francisco and sent a boat hauler to pick it up here in Maine. I was paid immediatly after the close of auction with an electronic transfer.
I`ve sold many items through ebay. It works!
Kurt.
