Big thanks for a great weekend and tour of the boat facility. The boat is awesome! Words & pics can't do it justice, you just had to be there.
I see you have posted some of the pics already (thats my arm in the 2nd windshield pic).
I can't wait for Lake X and delivery.

I have hull #1. It should be at Lake X in 4-6 weeks. I will take delivery in May 2003. It will be rigged with Merc 525's Smartcraft and Sportmaster ITS, Myco trailer, silver deck, saphire hull. The boat is extremely well thought out, down to the engine lighting.
You will be impressed. Obviously I was!
What else do you want to know?

The boat will be in the Mentor Lagoons, behind Mentor Harbor Yacht Club. I will be at Eastlake for the GLOPRA Silver Cup race on Memorial Day (new date this year), Smoke on the Water, Mentor Harbor YC second annual Poker Run and GLOPRA Silver Cup Race on July 12 weekend, Eastside LLBC Poker Run July 19, LEOPA Poker Run Aug 2 weekend.
Maybe 1000 Islands, NY Hudson River, Lake of the Ozarks Shootout. Who knows for sure?

I am considering doing a couple of races, with Andy Bloom at the throttles. It would probably be Eastlake and Mentor Harbor, if possible.

That is awsome!!! I will definitely be on the lookout for it. I am 90% sure I will be at the LLBC poker run on July 19th, still have to send in the application. Hopefully slots still available! She is truely a work of art. I must say I agree w/ catmando about what you do for a living. Need another FTE?

See there Cat.... you got it all wrong ... see I saw that $385,000 in there and I am thinking "man thats the retail price... " so in my minds eye I'm reading (rounding) DOWN ... closer to 300k. You did just the opposite by rounding up to 400k..... Do you know my wife by chance ?????

John you didn't say anything about the Dragon jacket. That was the highlight of the trip....no maybe Craig's party...no maybe Billabongs...no maybe Kingshead...no maybe Studio and Surf.....no maybe it was just the Dragon. Craig

i dont see any new pics on the site, are there any pics of a completed boat? i have to say, almost 400 grand for a new unproven hull is pretty steep. still, good luck with the product, and i look foward to seeing one on the water.

I just didn't know where to start, it was just a great weekend. Your jacket is special and I am wearing it proudly. LEOPAJM is jealous, Jerry is ready to step up to the plate just to get a jacket, he already has a hat. Heeheeeheeee!

It is a lot of money for a boat and I tried to talk myself out of it. I guess you just had to be there, it made a believer out of me. I just compare it to the price of Outer Limits and Cigarette. They aren't cheap, and they are not using the composites and tech that Dragon has incorporated into the boat.

Andy Bloom and I have talked about going to Cincy. I am a UC grad and love the town. Go Bear Cats! There is a good posibility it will happen.
