what do you think in % of all boats registered. FL has a lot of boats registered so the % of hp guys is probably small.

Well, where I boat, in the Great Lakes mostly, there are a LOT of performance boats. And, there are a LOT of manufacturers located here. Sunsation, Awsome, Saber, Powerquest just to name a few. Take a trip to Grand Haven, MI on a hot Saturday in the summer. I will GAURANTEE there will be a LOT of performance boats there. At times, they outnumber the cruisers. It truly is amazing at times.

Oh, and I'm proud to say that three of the boats registered in Michigan are mine. :) And two are my fathers. :)
