Black Thunder demo rides at Miami Show
Friends,
We'll have a Black Thunder 46' Demo boat at Sundays' on the Beach which is located on Key Biscayne just east of the Miami Seaquarium near the boat ramps. Stop by Saturday or Sunday between 9 AM and dusk and I'll be happy to take you for a ride. Don't worry if it's beyond your budget now, we'd just enjoy having you experience the Black Thunder ride and giving us your feedback. If you wish, call me on my cell at 954-980-2643. Look forward to meeting you. Steve David |
Guess you just wanted to tease all of us that did not get to make it.:D Do you make a Black Thunder snow mobile? We are expect 12-18 inches by monday:(
|
badass i'm gonna try my best to stop by!!!
|
Man that's a lot of snow!!!! It's in the upper 70's during the day this weekend and upper 60's in the evening :)
Sorry you can't make it, but please ask any Black Thunder owner for a ride at any Poker Run or other boating event you attend. I don't work for Black Thunder, I'm just one of their customers that helps with Demo rides in Miami each year. I'm very pleased with mine and enjoy sharing their product with other boaters. We'll be thinking about your weather tomorrow while we're putting on Sun Block and selecting which T shirt and shorts to wear:D |
Steve, it also helps to be an accomplished racer. You have more influence than you know. They are a very nice boat. Being built less than 90 miles from me you'd think that I would have seen their factory. I know their old rep from when they built the 32. He talks very, very highly of them. That says alot to me. :)
|
Hey Steve - Wish I could get away for one of those rides! Maybe next year...

WOW, what a nice guy.

Hi Steve. Are ya'll going on the FPC run next weekend? If so, I hope to see you and your lovely bride. I should be in town Tues. or so. Have a great show and I'll see ya'll soon. Robert |
Steve, That's great that you and Black Thunder are doing this again this year!! I didn't get to catch up with you last year during the miami show for a ride, but one of these years I will!!
I think more boat builder's should do this!! Because, when you get down to it, those of us here on the board are a very focused market group, that are pretty darn vocal!! (We wouldn't be here on the board if we were not) And even if they don't have the means now they probably will find a way somehow!! (Just look at the thread about how people live in smaller homes so they can afford a bigger boat!) Weather it's buy buying a new boat in years from now, or buying a used boat sooner, either way it makes your boat more desirable!! I wish I was in MAIMI!!! |
Hey Steve, You racing anywhere this year? Missed you at the worlds. We are running some APBA races this year depending on sponsorship. Maybe O'BOY OBERTO needs some more upfront running. If you know of anything let me know. Roger F2-15

Steve thanks for all the help on looking at boats in flordia for me. I finally found me a boat. Whish i could buy a new black thunder, maybe in a few more years when I get ready to up grade. Hopefully I can find a used 46 black thunder. Whish i could of made it down for the show. Happy boating

Friends,
Thanks for your kind notes. Enjoyed meeting some OSO folks today and heading out on the Bay. Great weather. We saw a huge pod of Dolphins near Stiltsville, just shut off the engines and they swam around us for 10 minutes. We had two of the guys from Team Marine on board, I think they are from Wisconsin. They had never seen Dolphins, and said "Man those are huge catfish!". Gotta love those electrical wiz kids :) Robert, Black Thunder will have several boats on the FPC Poker Run. I wish I was going but this coming weekend is our Unlimited Hydro awards banquet in Las Vegas so west I head. Roger, good to hear from you, and good luck in F-2 this year. We'll miss running with you guys, as we're staying at SBI and watching what shakes out with the llc situation. We have enduring hope that with some changes, both sides can find some uniting points and race together. It might be closer than one thinks...... O Boy O Oberto has renewed our deal and upped their participation. Our team is essentially building a new boat, pictures and history of the rebuild can be found at Miss Madison.com. Thanks again guys, and if any of you have time tomorrow (Sunday) come on down to Sundays on the Bay. Black Thunder gave me another full tank  ;) |
steve we would love to go we are here until sun i ll try to reach you in the morn mike koven 502 548 3310 any time thanks !!!

Steve
Sorry to hear that. We'll miss you guys. Maybe the next one  Good luck with your hydro season this year. Robert |
Steve, Dennis, Rich, and everyone at Black Thunder; thank you for the ride. Neda REALLY enjoyed her first offshore ride in a 46' BT running 70mph. I think the plan is working and she is already gathering rocks to throw at my 26' when we get back to DC. We took some great pics, and some video, and I will get them up on OSO when I get back to High Speed Internet.
The 46' in the water has twin 525EFIs and runs VERY comforable aat 50 mph, and sweetly tweaked at 70mph. If you can make it down there, go for it. Customers of course are BT's first priority; but Steve will do his best to squeeze you in. Thank you again Steve! Top notch OSO'er. :D :D :D |
Sydwaz,
Sure enjoyed meeting you and Neda and congratulations again on your upcoming marriage. She's a definite keeper! Steve |
Ran into BIGGUS at the Cigarette booth and he was on his way to go meet up with you for a ride. It was the fastest I saw him move all weekend.:D :D
