I never thought that I would have to go to the cemetary to wish my brother a happy birthday.

Hang in there man. You have lots of friends here that even tho they don't know you or Dan,we feel some of the pain.Stay strong.Time makes things better.

His Life was Boats...

He was lucky to have a good brother while he was with here. Now....he is in a better place, someplace we all hope to be some day. Hang tough man, hang tough.

BabyBro, I too know what it is like to loose such a great brother. :(
I lost mine back in '85 and his birthday is in 13days :(
He would be 51 :(
He was not taken from me in such a tragic way as Dan was.
My brother decided to end his life and never thought about the possibilities of the future. :(

Stay strong, I know I have to every Feb and April, and live life with them in our hearts and minds.

Dan was a great guy. I met him through the board, and met up with him several times in the 1000 Islands. Summer won't be as enjoyable this year ...

What is the status of the criminal case?

babybro , i dont know if you have experienced this yet but everytime i lose a friend or family member they come to me in a dream and any unresolved issues are sorted out. even if it is just to say goodbye in person (sort of) and to let me know everything is really ok and they are happy where they are.

Kenny: I have no words as you know how I feel . I think that is enough. I'm feeling the loss today more than ever.
Anyone boating in the 1000 islands needs to reply as I would like to show OUR (appreciation)?by having a tag along or some other function this summer just to CELEBRATE life as my friend would would have wanted. If i'm out of line please reply. This means Bro and Becca.

I can't imagine how hard it would be to lose a big brother. I don't have any older siblings. Just a younger sister, and I don't know what I'd do if something so tragic happened to her.
My heart goes out to you, your family and Becca. Stay strong and cherish the times that you had with him.

Actually, I was just thinking of Dan the other day yesterday---I had found some notes I had jotted down while talking to him on the phone back in October. I sure many of us miss him.

Same here his name came up a couple of times when I was hanging out at the Apache booth, down at the Miami show. RIP:( I'm sure he hanging with some great people like Don Aronow, Tom Gentry, and the list goes on. I'm sure they are brainstorming some great cloud jumpers right now.:cool:
