That 68 was w/tailwinds, I would venture to guess.

The 525 sc's were warmed over. They claimed 575hp.

540's x EFI many builders are offering this as a package, Try Eickert or Chief.

540's by a reputable builder that will stand behind them. Although stock power usually is easier to re-sell if that is a concern.

How about a 496 HO with a whipple on it. cost about $17,000 complete.
