freeze frame dvd help!confused again :)

just received dvd's from freeze frame.thnx to jeff very friendly and nice person.but i have some difficulties.
i put it on and start watching after 20 minutes i started to ask when is it going to start?!?i watched nothing for 85 minutes.i mean same replays all the time.i mean i could watch the same thing in 3 minutes.too much replay...then i thought may be something is wrong with my player, you know there was area stuff in early days,i thought i can not start the real thing-watching commercials,i called the electronics man he said everything is ok..
i am confused...........
-are all dvd's from freeze frame like this?
-maybe smthng wrong happened and jeff sent me the advertising cd?

what i exactly saw was: 30 times Charlos boat moving steering wheel
50 times 2 men jumping from a boat (flying)
50 times a blak bikinied woman
50 times c-10 numbered boat
thats all?!?
any comments?

anybody who reads this thread pls dont misunderstand me. iam not complaining or making fun of dvd's.
i am seriously wondering if there is a mistake or not?
i mean if all are like this its ok with me no problem
if there is a mistake and i received the commercials ,its ok np
i am trying to find out ; may be my player is not showing the real start menu because of this 'area stuff)

Something to check is whether your DVD player uses PAL which is the dominant standard in Europe(don't know about Turkey). Here in North Amerca, the dominant standard is NTSC which means this is the standard that the Freeze Frame DVD's would be utilizing.

You definately have a problem... You may want to buy the Sony player from Jeff, that will work.
Which DVD title are you trying to watch?

Yes there is an introduction section of the DVD's, usally only 2 or 3 chapters worth.
First you may want to check that you have the correct encoded region for you DVD player, being that Freeze Frame is from the states his DVDs are region 1.
You may want to also check to see if there any scratches or finger prints on the DVD which could cause the laser misread some information and "confuse" the player into repeating the same section over and over again.
Lastly if this all seems to be correct you may want to try a different player to see if it is the disk itself or if you player may not be able to read the DVD correctly. Jeff recomends Sony players, I know other players work but some just have more problems than others, especially if you have an older player.

Timucin,
The DVD you have is unlike the club DVD's. A lot of stuff is repeated. The steering wheel coming off is one that pops into my head. The DVD you have is some of the best recent footage edited to music. I like it but thought some of the footage was repeated to often. The race DVD's are from start to finish race footage. Similar to what you see on television but much more footage. Hope this helps.
