It's not every time that I'm barreling down the interstate...sometimes I'm in and out, backing, loading, etc., that doesn't require a belt and that damn chime is the worst!!! ;) |
does this only work on super duties or will it work on rangers too if so is it the same procedure.

Great info! Now, how about some info on turning off those daytime running lights (besides the rock idea)

When it begins to chime, reach down and press the release button twice. It will mute the alarm until the next time you start it up.
Actually, you can press the release twice anytime after you start the motor and it will mute it til next time... |
OT: Neat Tip for Ford Super Duty Owners.
yea buy a chevy. just kidding. |
My 2000 SD doesn't have the seatbelt chime or the self locking doors. Must be the newer models?
Indiana= trucks are exempt from seatbelt laws. I love my truck!!! Don't wear it in the car either. I love tinted windows!!!!!! |

I pulled the plug under the seat, very easy.... I had a hard time depressing the disconnect tab, so I put a small flat screwdriver in and used it to depress the tab and pulled at the same time, came right off.....

That is fan-dam-tastic info. Thanks a bunch.:)
