gotta love flames. i'm having some race jersies made with blue flames.

Looks great Dave. If I ever decide to paint my Fat Boy, I'll drop the parts off to you. (I go through Toledo about once a month). My Fat Boy is boring solid black right now... I would like to paint it but haven't had time to take it apart.

wardy- pretty cool truck man. what ya have in it for power
Mika- i use PPG's Radiance and House of Color for all my candy's and pearls. for this one i layed down the yellow base than a fine gold pearl. after that i do all my shading and shadows in candys mixed very thin with dbc-500 blending clear, that allows me to sneak up on the fades without getting that pixelated spotty look. also where the flames cross i do a little tape trick that gives the 3D look. 388- drop it off man :D :D . . i got all kinds of cool graphics float'n around in my head just wait'n for a place to go. this one took about a week or so :D thanks everybody for your comments. makes me think i kinda know what i'm do'n once in a while :D :D :D |

Geeeze Dave.....ok, It had a 468cu/in - 500 som'thin HP big block, TCI Turbo400 w/ a 3200 stall converter (I think, it's been a long time), Dana 60 rear w/ 5:86 Detroit Locker, 5:89 Dana 44 front w/ True Trac, and.......hell I can't remember but I know I spent every single paycheck on this truck !!!! And I think I was a total of 21" of lift......I do remember after I did the Dana 60 conversion that I had to have custom 15x14 8 lug wheels made......but I could still smoke the tires and chirp when I hit second with the B and M shifter. I blew alot of cars away with this truck. Do we get older..........? 1976 or something -

Very nice flames. You really get me thinking as I go out in the garage and look at my "Plane Jane" RoadKing. Heck, I thought it looked great........till I start to look at nice custom work like this.
Great Job |
