I keep that very card beside my monitor. I keep thinking one day my 28 AT will grow up into one of these.:D
|
Iwonder why they did not go with 2 steps?
|
Its on my wall.

Because one step works better than two:D It has to do with multiple planing surfaces, pivot points and stability. The AVH hull is very efficient and has incredibly strong rough water capability.
Take a ride and you will experience what I am talking about.:D |
What a cool boat. I love the lines on the 37. That just looks right...
|
Thanks everyone. That shot was taken on the Miami coast at over 90mph. The boat does look cool and I have been on 3 poker runs with it and it really eats up the ruff stuff, the bottom that Harry Schoell designed is awesome, very smooth landing, stable and dry, and most importantly, Safe. I couldn't be happier with my boat. Harry is almost finished with the new design of the 28, and then the 42-44 will come out, I will then be a player for that boat.. Hopefully, this month Powerboat Mag will feature an article on RadioActive, should be good reading, thanks and take care, Jeff:D

I have 2 postcards of that shot over my desk. I also checked out the boat at the Active Thunder open house. Loved it, great boat Jeff!
AT is on a short list of (4) manufacturers that my next boat will be ordered from. Actually the list is even shorter, becaust 2 of them I can't afford! |
Thanks Go4Broke, it puts a smile on my face every morning, even when the sun's not shining.
There is a short list of mine where 3 other boat co. the quality is real close, each having their own niche. The main thing is to go for a ride, drive each boat, especially in 3' or more confused mess, thats when you will be convinced. The Schoell bottom is where its at, the 1 step and delta pad is proven in my book. If I see ya at a Poker run, stop over and say hi, I'll give ya a ride . Take care Jeff  |
Jeff i saw the ad but look foward to the article.
|
 Can't wait to see the 42...
|
Jeff, I'll hold you to that!:D

Harry Schoell- he designed my Senza Spectra 26 DDC
Challenger Boats is now has the Mold for this hull Im very happy with it |
Jass, Do you have any pics of the transom? If so could you post.
Thanks, Mark |
Lets just say a few mph less than someone elses boat that is very similar.:p :D :D :D :D
|
you were absolutely correct, what a difference.....
|
Back4More, go up a few threads and click on my www site, the first few pics are the only transom shots I've got, sorry, If you need more let me know, I'll snap some specific shots for you, thanks Jeff
Troutly, we are almost finished dialing her in, we have seen 97.7 with the new 28 Herings, 1/2 tank of gas, 3 people with about 150rpms to go in 2 footers. The 32 4 blades have recorded 97 but had about 200-250 rpms to go, not close to the rev limiters, they are being reworked as we speak. What I have noticed is the 4 blades are faster but not quicker out of the whole, the Herings make the boat turn on rails, the Herings do everything better but top end, when I get it completely dialed in I will post the final speeds, hopefully before the next Thunder run end of March. Thanks Jeff Dan, now I know I will be dialed in by the Thunder run:p :D |
A big thank you to Jeff for the use of that shot!
I see by the responces everyone is recieving our mail outs. ;) |
And the post cards really do look great, gotta love the attitude of those 37's, they fly straight...
|
Dialing in, Poor Jeff, He has to take that big 37 out and run it hard, tough job but someone has to do it. If it were me I'd think we need to find several hundred pair of props, just to be sure!!!
97 with 1/2 tank, a/c, gen, 3 people etc... Not bad I guess you save weight with thongs(hehe) |
TROUTLY, I will be out this weekend, my Bronson/Hill 4 blades should be back in time, hopefully they will shave enough off to get that extra 200 rpms, then I will be there. And maybe if I go by myself, 1/4 tank of gas, get rid of the generator (Like someone else's boat) make sure its real early in the morning, nice and cool,I bet I get 103:p Its a tough job
Herbert, your right about the thong deal, that was Dan's ass:p ;) |
Jeff, perhaps you should get someone smaller than you to drive the boat early in the morning. Afterall, the weight savings might help you see 103+mph. I wonder who might be willing to do that for you... :D
|
Miller, with your ass in the boat, I would see 104, its only a plane ticket away, :p ;) I need help dialing it in:rolleyes: :D I love my weekends, talk to ya later:D
|
hmmm, so maybe if I can get down to 200lbs I maybe able to get those same speeds.....
|
Actually, Jeff since I'm 6"3 and 224lbs. I don't think I'm the right guy for the job. I was actually thinking that Mrs. JASSMAN should dial it in for you...but since you've offered I'll be down with my dog in the morning. See you at the airport! :D
|
