M. Freidman

Is Michael Freidman a member of the board. I have read in various mags. that he has a few high-end machines, like the 50+ aluminum "Dirty Laundry" C.U.V. cat as well as a 47' Apache with some mega-power among others. Does anyone know him, he must be pretty hard core!

lucy 02-23-2003 02:30 PM

That's a great pic Lucy, how does Mr. Friedman decide which boat to use with such an impressive collection?

lucy 02-23-2003 04:49 PM

he will ask magnum mark, what would you do?

fobes 02-23-2003 05:01 PM

I would have to go with the 47' Paleface, well wait, maybe the 53' C.U.V., but then there's Declawed or perhaps Jester, oh who knows?!!!

lucy 02-23-2003 05:41 PM

BattleCry 02-23-2003 09:41 PM

Jester! Its the "old faithful". Michael is awesome. Besides Robert, Pauly, Dean, William D, JoJo, and Captain Kirk(I know the list is long) he is one of the greatest guys that I have met.:)

I haven't met this Magnum Mark guy yet.:) Then again, maybe I have.

Zoomnfun 02-23-2003 10:00 PM

Dynasoar;)

lucy 02-23-2003 10:26 PM

bam was spawned in dirty bilge water!

Ryan Beckley 02-23-2003 10:35 PM

I've met Mike Friedman a few times at races and such. You'ld be hard pressed to meet a more easy going guy from what I've seen. Very low key and down to earth. Just a neat guy that likes cool boats.

BattleCry 02-23-2003 10:46 PM

Rut Roe! lucy, is this the Doodyhead Awards.:D

lucy 02-23-2003 10:52 PM

SPAWNED OR NOT HIS OLD 36 CIG. IS ALOT COOLER THEN THE DRIVER!

lucy 02-23-2003 10:57 PM

YES, BATTLE CRY : I SEE YOU ARE WELL INFORMED.

BattleCry 02-23-2003 11:01 PM

I talked to William D and he told me to ask you if a lifetime supply of oil came with his engines? He said you would know. And then he kinda chuckled.

lucy 02-23-2003 11:06 PM

THAT'S ABOUT AS FUNNY AS A SCREEN DOOR IN A SUBMARINE.!!

BattleCry 02-23-2003 11:08 PM

Just passing the word along.

BattleCry 02-23-2003 11:11 PM

This is also coming from a guy that winterizes in Feb. So I don't know. Dumb looks are still free, right.:)

lucy 02-23-2003 11:27 PM

MAGNUM MARK IS ALIVE AND WELL IN THE SWELLS.

C'YA LUCY.

BattleCry 02-23-2003 11:34 PM

:):):):):)

BattleCry 02-23-2003 11:46 PM

Maybe next time I'm up around Chi-town we can meet up. I'll buy dinner. I have no idea when that will be. But, I extend the invitation. I do live in southern ILL, as put by ex-girlfriends parents, south of I-80. Only 200 miles. Rock throwing distance to the capital.

Rice Hauler 02-24-2003 08:35 AM

Rice Hauler Here,
Had the opportunity to spend the weekend with Mike & Dawn,in DeClawed and Robert in Tonto and Jim & Mary with Wicked Won and Bolnde California Chick and Big Dog jay anderson and Nauti Kitti and the rest of the wild and famous or infamous gang at the FPC Miami Baot Show Run to Islamorada. What a great time.
I've had the pleasure of boating with Mike on several trips over the last few years and while I am always impressed with the hardware. The fact that he is a good boater and a very decent fellow speaks volumes I think.
He and tonto invited the Rice Hauler and crew along on a private mid keys tour on Saturday and we all had a terriffic time. no one got sprayed by the rooster tails and we all got back safe and sound. We hit Marathon /Burdines, Lorelie's, Hawks Cay and back to Islamorada and hit everything that was worth seeing and doing. That's what I call boating. 2-3 couples in every boat and a new leader every leg. Great sightseeing and camraderie.
So as for Mr. Friedman well I think we could all aspire to be a little like Mike.
Best,
Rice Hauler
a.k.a. Robert Shin

MrCIG 02-24-2003 09:01 AM

Michael is a great guy. I've had the pleasure of riding on the Jester, what a great ride and have seen all his other boats in person and they are all 1st. class. Between him and Tonto they should open a tour the Keys by the seat of your pants company.
They know the places to go and know how to have fun.

Mark

Zoomnfun 02-24-2003 09:03 AM

fobes 02-24-2003 06:50 PM

How is that beast Dirty Laundry in person, that thing has some heavy motivation, quad 1000's right?

Buca 02-25-2003 10:26 AM

It is a work of art. The workmanship was done better than any other boat. But is sounds like you are riding in a tin can.

Zoomnfun 02-25-2003 10:31 AM

Buca comes out of the wood work, where were you last nite?

MrCIG 02-25-2003 11:33 AM

BattleCry 02-25-2003 11:30 PM
