OT: Remembering JANE...What a B**ch
This is for all the kids born in the 70's that do not remember this, and didn't have to bear the burden, that our fathers, mothers, and older brothers and sisters had to bear. Jane Fonda is being honored as one of the "100 Women of the Century." Unfortunately, many have forgotten and still countless others have never known how Ms. Fonda betrayed not only the idea of our country but specific men who served and sacrificed during Vietnam.
The first part of this is from an F-4E pilot. The pilot's name is Jerry Driscoll, a River Rat. In 1968, the former Commandant of the USAF Survival School was a POW in Ho Lo Prison-the "Hanoi Hilton." Dragged from a stinking cesspit of a cell, cleaned, fed, and dressed in clean PJ's, he was ordered to describe for a visiting American "Peace Activist" the "lenient and humane treatment" he'd received. He spat at Ms. Fonda, was clubbed, and dragged away. During the subsequent beating, he fell forward upon the camp Commandant's feet, which sent that officer berserk. In '78, the AF Col. still suffered from double vision (which permanently ended his flying days) from the Vietnamese Col.'s frenzied application of a wooden baton. >From 1963-65, Col. Larry Carrigan was in the 47FW/DO (F-4E's). He spent 6 years in the "Hilton"- the first three of which he was "missing in action". His wife lived on faith that he was still alive. His group, too, got the cleaned, fed, clothed routine in preparation for a "peace delegation" visit. They, however, had time and devised a plan to get word to the world that they still survived. Each man secreted a tiny piece of paper, with his SSN on it, in the palm of his hand. When paraded before Ms. Fonda and a cameraman, she walked the line, shaking each man's hand and asking little encouraging snippets like: "Aren't you sorry you bombed babies?" and "Are you grateful for the humane treatment from your benevolent captors?" Believing this HAD to be an act, they each palmed her their sliver of paper. She took them all without missing a beat. At the end of the line and once the camera stopped rolling, to the shocked disbelief of the POWs, she turned to the officer in charge and handed him the little pile of papers. Three men died from the subsequent beatings. Col. Carrigan was almost number four but he survived, which is the only reason we know about her actions that day. I was a civilian economic development advisor in Vietnam, and was captured by the North Vietnamese communists in South Vietnam in 1968, and held for over 5 years. I spent 27 months in solitary confinement, one year in a cage in Cambodia, and one year in a "black box" in Hanoi. My North Vietnamese captors deliberately poisoned and murdered a female missionary, a nurse in a leprosarium in Ban me Thuot, South Vietnam, whom I buried in the jungle near the Cambodian border. At one time, I was weighing approximately 90 lbs. (My normal weight is 170 lbs.)We were Jane Fonda's "war criminals." When Jane Fonda was in Hanoi, I was asked by the camp communist political officer if I would be willing to meet with Jane Fonda. I said yes, for I would like to tell her about the real treatment we POWs received different from the treatment purported by the North Vietnamese, and parroted by Jane Fonda, as "humane and lenient." Because of this, I spent three days on a rocky floor on my knees with outstretched arms with a large amount of steel placed on my hands, and beaten with a bamboo cane till my arms dipped. I had the opportunity to meet with Jane Fonda for a couple of hours after I was released. I asked her if she would be willing to debate me on TV. She did not answer me. This does not exemplify someone who should be honored as part of "100 Years of Great Women." Lest we forget..."100 years of great women" should never include a traitor whose hands are covered with the blood of so many patriots. There are few things I have strong visceral reactions to, but Hanoi Jane's participation in blatant treason, is one of them. Please take the time to forward to as many people as you possibly can. It will eventually end up on her computer and she needs to know that we will never forget. |

I didnt know about this, But I am only 27 here.... This makes me sick... Here is something you definatly dont learn in school!...
|
Baja Daze, You need to put this in an email and send it to everyone you know. It will make it around to most eventually.
|
I remember those days alright !!
She was and is a dirtbag...I've never seen a movie of hers since and never will . Its a great idea to share this with others as a stark reminder of the lurid past of some of our "stars". Lest we not forget the told and untold stories of the many heroes who fought in Vietnam and other places around the globe...my personal thanks and lifelong gratitude. |
It's truly unbelievable how anyone can be as remarkably stupid as this b*tch...What a disgraceful and dispicable woman!
Hang her for treason! SR-24, Done! ;) |
1969
Jane Fonda tells the student audience at the Michigan State University in 1969; "I would think that if you understood what communism was, you would hope, you would pray on your knees, that we would someday become communist." From the one on July 14, 1972 she said; "This is Jane Fonda speaking from Hanoi, and I'm speaking particularly to the U.S servicemen...I don't know what your officers tell you...but [your] weapons are illegal and that's not just rhetoric...The men who are ordering you to use these weapons are war criminals according to international law, and in the past, in Germany and Japan, men who committed these kinds of crimes were tried and executed." Another broadcasts quoted Ho Chi Minh and had references to President Nixon as a "new-type Hitler", along with messages to the South Vietnamese soldiers to desert, "You are being used as cannon fodder for U.S. imperialism."(AFJ,May'88--Personalities) Addressing herself to the men on the aircraft carriers in the area; "Use of these bombs or condoning the use of these bombs makes one a war criminal." When addressing herself to the pilots of the American planes she continued with; "Examine the reasons given to justify the murder you are being paid to commit." Upon her return to the U.S. she then addressed cheering students; "I bring greetings from our Vietnamese brothers and sisters." This woman is nothing but a traitor and should be executed according to the laws of our land. |
I remember it well. :hothead:
Had a neighbor that was a Navy pilot. Went back for a second tour and never returned. :( A co-worker was a Navy river rat whose boat was shot out from under him and his crew. They all spent time in prison camps. He never once used the word "humane" when talking about their treatment. |
I just made a copy of Baja Daze's post and handed it to several Vietnam Vets that I work with. They are not saying much, but i can see it in their eyes. Jane should hang....so should those two "Ben and Jerry's" jerks for paying for advertisments against this county and it's military. Shame on them, and shame on those who took their stinking money to place those ads on television.
Who has the bat? |
I wasn't born yet, but learned enough to make me sick about it last semester. It's terrible to all the families of U.S. soldiers that had to see her ass cutting them down like that :(
|
What's the matter, Cat? It's not like you dated her, right?? :p:p
So, come on, get back on our side...Surely, you don't agree with her(I hope?). It may be the 'third or forth time,' but look, there's still people who heard this the first time...Relax! :D :D [It's not like I'm counting how many grumpy moments you've had:p:D] Jus' havin' fun, you old puss! ;) |
Okay, so we're in agreement...why not re-iterate it for those who haven't heard, then...perhaps it will help us surpress the next hollywood idiot who tries something stupid.
|
Hey Cat,
There is an old addage that says; "Those who fail to understand history, run the risk of repeating it". This is one of those things that people today need to FULLY UNDERSTAND! Unfortunately, it seems that many, WAY TOO MANY people have forgotten just what happened on September 11, 2001. They have failed to understand what lying and coniving people do to further their cause (liek Saddam and Hitler). These topics need to stay at the forefront as reality needs to be understood because the media so often and unjustly presents only one side of the story. There is never a time to move on and not discuss and understand war, its hero's and heroin's, its evil animals and it unsung often forgotten patriots. That is why we all take history and learn about many wars, the Trojan War, the Spanish Inquision, the Revolutionary War, The Civil War, etc. etc. etc. Glad to see you dislike her as well. |
A taitorist ***** that should be tried for it. Remember the urinal screens with her face on it? The were in all the AmVets and American Legion halls.

While Jane Fonda certainly did a tremendous disservice to the men and women of our armed forces and this country in Vietnam she did not do everything as reported in the story. This story has been an email chain for a period of time and has been embelished beyond the actual facts according to urban legends It does however illustrate the damage that our celebrities can do. I've often wondered why people flock to actors, musicians, sports figures like they had some sort of divine wisdom the rest of us somehow missed.
|
Playn, I disagree totally. I cannot speak first hand about the specific facts of this actual story (I e-mailed it to Daze), but my Grandma used to tell me how there were pictures of Hanoi Jane shooting SAMS at American fighter jets. After hearing her say this, and hearing the tales of Vets and people in ther 50's and 60's, I bet we know about 25% of what this disgusting excuse for an American has comitted against her own people.........I think that any story that even resembles Jane Fonda's involvement to any degree, whether embelished or not, needs to be recognized and spread and condemned. All it takes is one overt act, and we KNOW she has had many. This woman is a 1000% disgrace to our boys who died in that horrible war. She is vile, a traitor and has commited absolute nausiating acts against you, I, our families and friends. How did we reward this coward....by making her a millionaire.
We all should be ashamed ourselves and she should be hung...that is what you do to traitors, Washington, Jefferson and Loncoln would have. Cat, for you to come to ANY defense of her is completely absurd. I am embarrassed for you. Daze, Thanks for posting my e-mail. I'm so pissed off right now, I just cannot fathom how we let people get away with treason.....all those kids that were killed so this repulsive human can gomake movies......RRROOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAA......Very few things tee me off more than this stuff. I hope she spends eternity in hell. This is not misguided protests......I'm done ranting.   |
I think you are missing my point. I said she did a tremendous disservice to this country and our troops by her actions. You certainly cannot think from my post that I would be comming to her defense. Simply stated, her record based on facts is enough to condem her. By embellishing is with items that are not true diminishes credibility.
|
Playn, I was just going off, my bad. My point was that all it takes is for 1 of these stories to be true---and we all know there are more than one--- and she deserves every ounce, times 1,000,000. She is lucky to still be alive. In almost any other country she would have been executed for treason.
Anyway, yes, you did validate your points in you original post and I recognized them, I was just adding more fuel to the fire, sorry it came out seeming to point at you. That was not the intention, the intention was to say that no matter if it is embelished, she is getting 1/1,000 of what she deserves Sorry, you are correct. Allan:) BTW.....I get pretty reved up over this stuff, sorry guys and gals.;) I find no room in this great nation for tolerating traitors and people who purposely undermine our security and wellbeing. |
Let's not forget
Susan Sarandon, Sean Penn, George Clooney, Ben & Jerry's, Sheryl Crow, all these friggin liberal/communist tree huggers.
I'm never going to a movie or buying a CD again for fear of contributing my hard earned money to their distorted ignorant cause. I think there are very few in the creative (unrealistic and downright common sense free) performing arts world that aren't far leftists. |
I think more importantly we should know who or what organization put her up for this "honor"? They are the real problem!

Oh well, I try to keep my political views outta my audio/visual entertainment choices, but sometimes that gets hard to do. Man......Sherly Crow.....what a bummer.......:( :( ;) |
Originally posted by catmando Allan4, Don't see you apologizing to me, and I said NOTHING in her defense in either of my posts. The FACT is that none of the administrations have seen fit to bring her before a court of any kind, and after all these years it is unlikely that she will ever be called to account for her treasonous actions. I have never gone to see any of her movies after her actions during the Vietnam war. |
Cat, your a DORK!!!
