My new truck is here!
 

New GMC 2500HD Duramax/Allison w/6" lift and 35" tires. The shop did a great job in only five working days. Has the 92 horse chip and 4" exhaust too!:D :D

How does the manufacturer handle warranties when you lift up the trucks???..do they give you a hard time?

As far as the warranty, I think it is more a dealer issue. There are some issues with the Allison on anything other than stock size tires that may not be covered. From what I have read on this board, if a dealer (or manufacturer for that matter) does not want to pay a warranty claim, they won't.

Have you had a chance to drive the truck enough to give feedback yet? I will be purchasing a new truck very soon myself and the truck you have is one of my 2 choices. I am more interested in your opinions of the motor/tranny package.
